In October 2015, 104 098 houses were sold in Turkey
In Turkey, house sales increased by 8.8% in October 2015 compared to the same month of the previous year and hence, became 104 098. For the house sales of October 2015, İstanbul had the highest share (17.7%) of house sales with 18 468 sold house. The followers of Istanbul were Ankara with 11 028 (10.6%) house sales and İzmir 5 987 (5.8%) house sales. The least house sold provinces were Hakkari with 9 house sales, Ardahan with 18 house sales, Bayburt with 51 house sales.
In October 2015, 27 996 ownership of the houses changed by mortgage sales
The mortaged house sales throughout Turkey became 27 996 by decreasing 18.7% compared to the same month of the previous year. House sales with mortgage had a 26.9% share of all house sales in Turkey. Most of house sales with mortgage was in İstanbul with 6 117 sales. İstanbul was the first province in Turkey ranking that has most house sales with mortgage share with 21.8%. Mortgaged house sales had the highest share in Ardahan with 38.9% of all house sales.
Ownership of 76 102 houses changed by other sales
Other house sales in Turkey became 76 102 by increasing 24.4% compared to the same month of the previous year. In the other sales, İstanbul was the first province with 12 351 sales and 16.2% share. Other house sales had 66.9% share of all house sales in Istanbul. Ankara was the second province with 7 515 sales. Ankara was followed by İzmir with 4 211 sales. The least other house sales was realized in Hakkari with 6 house sales.
In house sales, 50 564 of houses were sold for the first time
First house sales in Turkey became 50 564 by increasing 13.6% compared to the same month of the previous year. First house sales had 48.6% share of all house sales in Turkey. The most first house sales was in İstanbul with 9 386 sales. İstanbul was the first province in Turkey ranking that had most first house sales share with 18.6%. The followers of İstanbul were Ankara with 4 818 house sales and İzmir with 2 438 house sales.
Ownership of 53 534 houses changed by second hand sales
Second hand house sales in Turkey became 53 534 by increasing 4.7% compared to the same month of the previous year. In the second hand sales, İstanbul was the first province again with 9 082 sales and 17% share. Share of the second hand sales was 49.2% in İstanbul in total house sales. Ankara was the second province with 6 210 sales and Ankara was followed by İzmir with 3 549 sales.
In October 2015, 2 236 houses were sold to foreigners
In house sales to foreigners became 2 236 by increasing 23.8% compared to the same month of the previous year. İstanbul was the first province with 780 sales in October 2015. The followers of İstanbul were Antalya with 567 house sales, Bursa with 136 house sales, Yalova with 118 house sales, Aydın with 103 house sales and Muğla with 102 house sales.
Most house sales were made to Iraqi citizens according to country nationalities
Iraqi citizens bought 430 houses from Turkey in October. The followers of Iraq were Saudi Arabia with 325 house sales, Russia with 191 house sales, Kuwait with 142 house sales and England with 133 house sales.
